Intelligent Designs had an audacious goal:
to simplify sustainability so that anyone can understand the ideas, even while waiting in line for your morning coffee.
At the heart of the challenge was developing a series of apparel designs that were not only eye-catching and beautiful, but were able to raise awareness of just how simple sustainability really is.
Sustainability isn’t like Astrophysics, yet there are still misconceptions about the simplicity and potential for these game-changing principles.
With the challenge of developing a small line of apparel aimed at the conscious consumer and their families, we created five apparel designs that brought sustainability to the masses.
In addition to the apparel designs, we also helped shape printed marketing materials to be used by retailers and Epic Journey to help boost awareness and message.
The biggest challenge in designing this apparel wasn’t in making something that will live on a person’s body, it was in choosing the right print methods and vendors for both retail and wholesale production.
We kept the brand’s aspirations and market strategy in mind when developing the artwork for these apparel designs, being easily printed with high-end direct to garment printing methods, and more traditional water-based screenprinting.
